Emily Beecham stars in "Badlands" on AMC as the widow.

Emily Beecham trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Since graduating, she's had a varied career in film and television. On the big screen, she has been seen in "Art Is ... ," "The Calling," alongside Brenda Blethyn, "Basement," "Rise of the Footsoldier" and "28 Weeks Later," starring Jeremy Renner and Rose Byrne.

On UK television, Beecham starred in BBC's drama series "The Village" and was featured in BBC's miniseries "The Fear" and "Tess of the D'Urbervilles." She was also seen in episodes of such series as "The Musketeers," "Damages," "The Runaway," "Merlin," "Silent Witness," "The Street,""Unforgiven," "Inspector Lewis," "The Bill," "New Tricks" and "Agatha Christie's Marple."

Beecham was featured as one of the 55 Faces of the Future by Nylon Magazine. She won the Edinburgh International Film Festival Skillset Trailblazer Award 2011, as well as Best Actress at the London Independent Film Festival 2011.
