Emily Bett Rickards stars in "Arrow" on The CW as Felicity Smoak, who serves as Oliver's (Stephen Amell) masterful computer expert to help solve cases, and also occasionally acts as his conscience.

While in high school, Emily Bett Rickards' passion to start acting on a more expansive scale motivated her to graduate high school early and attend the Vancouver Film School Acting Essentials Program, whose alumni include directors Neil Bomkamp, Neil Kopp and Kevin Smith.

Soon after graduating from VFS, Rickards landed her first feature role in the third installment of the very successful Flicka franchise, "Flicka: Country Pride." That same year Rickards booked a recurring role in the Canadian series "Soldiers of the Apocalypse." She also appeared in the controversial movie of the week "Romeo Killer: The Chris Porco Story," and had a small supporting role in the independent comedy "Random Acts of Romance."

Rickards recently starred in the independent feature "Dakota's Summer." She plays the older sister, Kristen, who provides support to her younger sister Dakota after she receives surprising news about their family after almost 18 years.

When Rickards isn't on set, she divides her time between yoga, spin class, and her love of photography. She also enjoys hanging out with her dog and playing board games, drawing on her chalk wall, or checking out thrift shops to help round-out her closet. Always wanting to stay sharp and keep her creative juices flowing, she is constantly reading books, scripts, plays, and stories to help access her arsenal of undercover personas, as well as attending acting classes with Andre McIlroy.

Rickards currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
