Ennis Esmer stars as Osman "Oz" Bey, Toby Logan's (Craig Olejnik) EMS partner and friend on NBC's "The Listener."

Ennis Esmer came to Toronto from Ankara, Turkey at the age of 3. Ennis Esmer trained in theatre at York University and sketch/improv at Second City, while paying his dues at every comedy club in the city.

Ennis Esmer counts roles in the series "ReGenesis" and "Flashpoint," the television movie "Snowglobe" and the film "The Rocker" among his recent credits. Prior to his role as Zoltan in "Billable Hours" on Showcase, Ennis Esmer was the host of "The Toronto Show" on SunTV, and played terrorist Mohammed Salameh in the ABC miniseries "The Path to 9/11." Additional credits for Ennis Esmer include the sci-fi spoof "Decoys"; The Comedy Network's "Cream Of Comedy Special" with sketch troupe Calcu-Lator & The Oral Presentation; the Canadian indie film "Your Beautiful Cul de Sac Home," the feature film "Young People F***ing," which opened the Canadian Prospective at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival; and host of the Yuk Yuk's Muslim Comedy Festival. The troupe's success was featured in the New York Times, National Post, and Toronto Sun. Ennis Esmer produced and hosted "Turkish Delights," a live comedy series which provided a forum for some of the finest and freshest stand-up acts in Toronto to perform their comedy in the early '00s.

As front man/head writer of Calcu-Lator & The Oral Presentation, Ennis Esmer has taken Toronto by storm with a unique blend of satire, slapstick, and hip-hop-rock-funk-folk-rock. Blurring the line between concert and comedy, C.O.P.'s live show has been featured in The Toronto Star and Now Magazine and played at The Toronto Fringe Festival and Edgefest.
