Eric Close stars "Chaos" on CBS as Michael Dorset. Eric Close previously starred as Martin Fitzgerald in CBS's "Without a Trace."

Close has starred in the series "Now and Again" and "The Magnificent Seven," both on CBS, as well as "Dark Skies" and "McKenna." Close's additional television credits include appearances in the series "Sisters" and "Santa Barbara." Close also starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation "Follow the Stars Home," on CBS, and the 20-hour, 10-part miniseries "Taken," which was executive-produced by Steven Spielberg and received a Golden Globe nomination. Close's TV movie credits include "Seven Deadly Sins," "Hercules," "Follow the Stars Home," "The Stranger Beside Me," "Long Island Fever" and "Without Consent."

Close's feature film credits include "Saving Angelo," "Alvarez & Cruz," "Liberty, Maine," "The Sky is Falling," "Taking Liberty" and "American Me." Most recently, Close wrapped the feature film "Unanswered Prayers" opposite Samantha Mathis, produced by Garth Brooks, and based on his hit song of the same title.

Close has directed episodes of "Without a Trace" and is a member of the DGA.

Close was born in Staten Island, New York, and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.
