Eric Dufresne from "Ice Road Truckers" stars in the History Channel reality docu-series.

Born in Montreal, Eric Dufresne was drawn to the rugged, natural beauty of Northern Canada as a teenager and now lives in the Yukon Territory. An Arctic enthusiast, he's driven the ice roads every year since he was 19. Eric is one of the most safety-minded, collaborative and environmentally conscious drivers on the ice roads. He loves to turn up the music and rock out in his cab, has a good sense of humor and enjoys taking in the natural beauty of his surroundings. An expert mechanic as well as an outdoorsman, he's constantly doing his own maintenance and repairs, and because of his hardcore work ethic, he's often in the garage working on his truck when the others are out at the bars. Married with one child, Eric counts hiking, fishing and photography among his hobbies. His keen eye gives him a knack for spotting wild animals on and off the ice roads.
