Eric Petersen stars in "Kirstie's New Show" on TV Land as Arlo, Maddie's (Kirstie Alley) son whom she gave up at birth.

Eric Petersen is best known for playing the title character in the national touring production of "Shrek: The Musical." In addition, he played William Barfee in the first national tour of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" and had roles in regional productions of "The Foreigner," "The Producers," "Hair" and "Oliver."

On television, Petersen has been seen in episodes of "Jessie," "GCB," "Modern Family," "Outlaw," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU" and "As the World Turns."

Petersen graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where he earned a B.S. degree in Acting.

He enjoys ice hockey, football, ice skating, rollerblading, basketball and golf.
