Erica Cerra on "Eureka" Erica Cerra Pictures Erica Cerra stars as Josefina "Jo" Lupo on SCI FI Channel's "Eureka." Jo Lupo is Eureka's deputy sheriff, a Jersey girl and former Navy SEAL. The eccentric residents of Eureka try her patience, but they've grown accustomed to her bluster and appreciate her dedication to their safety. At first, Jo is resentful of having to report to an outsider when Jack Carter is brought in, but she comes to gain respect for his talents and becomes a trusted partner in maintaining the peace. Now, if only her personal life could be as rewarding. Erica Cerra's film and television credits include roles in Mike Binder's "Man About Town," "Blade: Trinity" and a recurring role on SCI FI Channel's hit series "Battlestar Galactica." Erica Cerra's television roles also include USA's "The 4400" and "The Dead Zone" as well as "Smallville," "Young Blades" and "The L Word." A native of Vancouver, Erica Cerra began performing as a child and after a hiatus during her teen years, started in commercials before moving on to feature film and television.
