Eriko Tamura on "Reaper" Eriko Tamura Pictures Eriko Tamura stars as Mai in 20th Century Fox's "Dragonball Evolution" (2009) opposite Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum. Eriko Tamura has also had recurring roles as Princess Yaeko on NBC's "Heroes" and as Kristin in The CW's "Reaper." Sometimes called "The Britney Spears of Japan," Eriko Tamura began her career as a teen idol pop singer. Eriko Tamura released 10 original albums, 15 singles, and enjoyed phenomenal success. In fact, Eriko Tamura was so popular that "Legendary Idol Eriko," a series of more than 50 cartoons, was created as a fictionalization of her life. Subsequently, Eriko Tamura became the face for companies like Kanebo Cosmetics, Bridgestone Tire, Volkswagen, and Nissin Foods. Eriko Tamura has been on the cover of numerous magazines throughout Asia. Eriko Tamura's acting career began at age 13 with the film "Flowerly Afternoon." Eriko Tamura has received praise for much of her work including her performances in "Flowerly Afternoon," "Waga Aishita Ultraseven," and "Hideyoshi," in which she portrayed a woman with ages ranging from 14 to 37. Eriko Tamura was also a series regular on the show "Go with the Wild!" on Fuji Television.
