Erin Cardillo and Debby Ryan The Suite Life Deck Erin Cardillo Pictures Erin Cardillo stars as Emma Tutweiller in Disney Channel's "The Suite Life on Deck." Erin Cardillo is best known for her role as Esme Vanderheusen from 2005-08 on NBC's daytime soap opera, "Passions." Erin Cardillo was born in White Plains, New York but considers Greenwich, Connecticut, where she lived from age 10 through high school, her home town. Though Erin Cardillo has always wanted to be an actress, her parents thought it was important she have a normal childhood, and encouraged her to finish college before taking on acting professionally. Erin Cardillo attended Northwestern University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Performance Studies. It was there that she began to explore writing and adaptation, as well as acting. Erin Cardillo graduated Magna Cum Laude. Erin Cardillo spent her junior year abroad in London, through Marymount College, where she cultivated her great love of Shakespeare. After college Erin Cardillo moved to New York where she jumped into the theater. After booking two television jobs, on the short lived sitcom "Madigan Men," with Gabriel Byrne, and long standing "Law and Order," Erin Cardillo was hooked and knew that a move to LA would be inevitable. In the past few years in Los Angeles Erin Cardillo has written and produced a short film ("The Murder of Donovan Slain"), and acted in over 10 films. Erin Cardillo has appeared in guest-starring and recurring roles on ABC, NBC, CBS, NIK, FOX and Lifetime series. Erin Cardillo currently lives in Hollywood, California.
