Faith Ford stars as Leila on ABC's "Carpoolers."

Her classic beauty, combined with her wit and comedic talent, earned Faith Ford five Emmy nominations and two consecutive Golden Globe nominations for her ten-year portrayal of reporter Corky Sherwood on "Murphy Brown." More recently Faith Ford starred for three seasons in the ABC hit comedy series "Hope & Faith," with Kelly Ripa, and co-starred opposite Vin Diesel in Touchstone Pictures' "The Pacifier."

Faith Ford's television credits include the ABC Family Channel feature "Moms on Strike," opposite Tim Matheson, Florence Henderson and Spencer Breslin. Faith Ford also starred for two seasons as Shelly Kilmartin, a probation officer who is the object of Norm Macdonald's affection on the ABC series "Norm." Between "Murphy Brown" and "Norm," Faith Ford headlined her own series, "Maggie Winters."

In addition to her acting career, Faith Ford made her writing debut in 2004 with an exciting cookbook, "Cooking with Faith," co-written with Melissa Clark. This multi-generational Southern cookbook draws on Faith Ford's childhood in Louisiana, where she learned how to cook down-home food at the knees of her grandmother and mother. Along with the traditional family recipes, the cookbook includes updated healthier versions, sprinkled with familial anecdotes of good ole' Southern hospitality and charm.

In high school Faith Ford acted in school plays, and in her senior year she was a finalist in Teen Magazine's annual model search. Faith Ford moved to New York City when she was 17, working in commercials, taking acting classes and doing some modeling. At age 18 Faith Ford landed a role on the soap "Another World." After a year on the show, Faith Ford decided to move to Los Angeles to further pursue her career as an actress.

Relocating to Los Angeles in 1985 and continuing her acting studies, Faith Ford began acquiring primetime television credits. Faith Ford was a regular on the series "Popcorn Kid" and a recurring character on "thirtysomething," before meeting "Murphy Brown" executive producer Diane English.

Faith Ford also starred in the Rob Reiner feature "North," the sci-fi action thriller "Night Visitors," and in the M.O.W. "Her Desperate Choice."

Faith Ford currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband.
