Farah Fath portrays Mimi Lockhart, an insecure yet effervescent young heroine on NBC's "Days of our Lives."

Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Farah Fath dreamed of being in show business. "I have loved being in the spotlight ever since I can remember," she says. Farah Fath began modeling at the age of five and traveled to Los Angeles to participate in an International Model and Talent Convention. Farah Fath competed in several pageants, in many of which she was a National Speech Winner. Farah Fath was crowned "Miss Kentucky Pre-Teen" in 1995.

In high school, Farah Fath juggled academics, cheerleading and still found time for modeling assignments, commercials and pageant competitions. Farah Fath performed in her high school's production of "Life with Mother Superior" and she appeared in numerous print campaigns for Duncan Hines and in a national commercial for Pringles® Potato Chips.

It was in July 1999 when Farah Fath's agent told her she had an audition for "Days of our Lives." On her very first Hollywood try, Farah Fath landed the recurring role of Mimi. Farah Fath fondly reminisces about her first day on the set: "I saw Kristian Alfonso and Deidre Hall and I was in total awe because I had grown up watching them. I started watching when Marlena was possessed and was instantly hooked."

Farah Fath expected to be in Salem for only a few weeks and then return to Kentucky; she decided to remain on the West Coast instead. "I was really excited to stay in Los Angeles but I missed my family and friends," recalls the young actress. "My mom had to commute back and forth for the first few months but it was well worth it: I now have a contract role on my favorite daytime drama. I still can't believe it; I am living my dream."

Farah Fath currently lives in Los Angeles with her miniature Yorkie, Jack.
