Fatma Dabo from "Models of the Runway" is one of the models featured on the Lifetime reality competition series and Season 6 of its companion series, "Project Runway." She currently lives in Los Angeles, California but is originally from Banjul, The Gambia. Fatma from "Models of the Runway" is 5'10" tall.
When Fatma Dabo was 14 years old, her classmates back home in Gambia begged her to do a fashion show. She has now been modeling professionally for over 8 years. Fatma from "Project Runway" says her look is an acquired taste and that people either love her to pieces or they just don't get her. She walks with so much strength, she says she is like The Terminator. Uniformity isn't for her. What makes her stand out as a model, she believes is that she looks like a warrior queen. A famous photographer once told her that she was a bit androgynous. She loves hearing Digital Underground's "Freaks of the Industry" when she is walking the runway.
She is currently a storyteller and an aspiring fiction writer. She has a B.A. in business management.
