Fazlul "Fuzz" Zubair from "Robot Combat League" is the robo-tech for Team Drone Strike in the Syfy competition series. His teammate is robo-jockey Ciji Thornton. Zubair is a systems engineer who currently lives in Carson, California. He is originally from Torrance, California.

In a mere eight years, Sri Lankan-born Fazlul "Fuzz" Zubair earned four degrees from University of California, Irvine: a Bachelor's in Physics and a Bachelor's, Master's and PhD in Aerospace Engineering. He is now a systems engineer at a company that specializes in defense and aerospace systems. Fazlul is a volunteer with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a program that aims to inspire students in the science and technology fields, and is gearing up for the upcoming regional competition with his team, The Vitruvian Bots (Team #4201). In his down time, Fazlul enjoys role-playing and strategy games, ranging from "Starcraft" and "Diablo" to "League of Legends" and "Civilization," reading sci-fi/fantasy books and traveling with his wife.
