As the brewmaster at Dogfish, Floris Delee is responsible for all aspects of beer production at the brewery in Milton and spirits at the Dogfish pub in Rehoboth. Together with Sam Calagione and the super talented crew of brewers, he manages the development of new recipes and the fine tuning of some older recipes.

Floris grew up in a beer brewing family in Belgium where he also studied biochemical engineering and brewing science. Beer has taken him across Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean where he has built breweries and helped local brewers make better beer. Before joining Dogfish, he and his father Robert started their own brewery consulting firm that helps brewers find new and innovative ways to make their beers more inspiring and sustainable.
What he likes most at Dogfish is the "no boundaries" philosophy that ensures every idea is worth talking through or trying out. Ideas, recipes or dreams do not always work, but being daring is rewarded in hopes that his team will be motivated to come up with the next great beer.
