The Football Players from "Expedition Impossible" is one of the teams racing through Morocco in the ABC reality competition series.

These three former NFL players met while playing football for San Diego State University. Akbar Gbaja-Biamila was a linebacker for the Oakland Raiders, and later the San Diego Chargers. Robert Ortiz also played for the Chargers as a wide receiver, and Ricky Sharpe spent several seasons with the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins. The Football Players ("Expedition Impossible") consider themselves to be hyper-competitive and willing to do whatever it takes to win. They're used to running up and down a football field, but we're jazzed to see how they'll handle jaunt into the wild.

Akbar Gbaja-Biamila is a 31-year-old broadcaster from Los Angeles, California; Robert Ortiz is a 27-year-old business owner from Solana Beach, California; and Ricky Sharpe is a 31-year-old health-and-fitness consultant from Costa Mesa, California.
