Gaelan Connell stars in "Level Up" on Cartoon Network as the lovable geek Wyatt, who is an enthusiastic, idealistic teenager who's a bit awkward. His only recreation is playing online fantasy video games like "Conqueror of All Worlds." When he and two of his classmates, Lyle and Dante, unwittingly open a portal from a video game into the real world, allowing characters from the game to start leaking into real life, the trio must put aside their social differences in order to play the game for real and defeat evil.

As a 10-year-old, Gaelan Connell appeared in Lasse Hallström's "Chocolat," starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp. Connell's other credits include director John Waters' "A Dirty Shame" and an appearance in an episode of "Law & Order." He also appeared alongside Lisa Kudrow and Vanessa Hudgens in the 2009 film, "Bandslam."

Connell is the lead singer and plays guitar for his band Exist, with two independently produced albums, "Exist" and "Want. Need. Hurt." He is also working with a new band called Sweet 16. In addition, Connell has started his own film company, Optimal Entertainment Inc., for which he writes, produces and performs.

Growing up in Maryland, Connell has worked steadily in theater in the Baltimore and Washington DC area, done voiceover work and is an accomplished cellist. Connell speaks French and his interests include fencing, chess, horseback riding, sailing and skiing.
