Geechy Guy from "America's Got Talent 2011" is one of the Top 48 acts in Season 6 of the NBC talent competition series. He is a comedian from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Geechy Guy ("America's Got Talent 2011") started his career in his hometown of Rochester, Michigan. Beginning with magic at age six, then juggling and unicycling at age 12, he settled on stand-up comedy at the ripe old age of 19. Geech was invited to San Francisco in the late '80s to compete in the prestigious Comedy Competition. Finishing in the top 10 out of 500 comics two years in a row, he headed down to Los Angeles to see what could happen.
Geech set a record in August 1993 when he told 676 jokes in one hour to land himself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. After living in Los Angeles and working on cruise ships for a while, he decided, with his wife, Alta, and their two cats, Oscar and Emmy, to move to Las Vegas. Buying a home and settling there, Geech was soon asked to star in another show, "The Geechy Guy Happy Hour," which ran for three years. Then, in 2007, he launched the ambitious "Every Station in the Nation" tour. He also debuted his original, three-man comedy play "The Dirty Joke Show" to rave reviews, and it is currently playing nightly at Hooters Casino.
