Geoffrey Arend stars in "Body of Proof" on ABC as Dr. Elliot Gross. Previously, he starred as Hector Culligan on TNT's "Trust Me."

Born and raised in the city of New York, Geoffrey Arend began acting at a very young age. He graduated from New York City's LaGuardia High School of Music and Art & the Performing Arts in 1996, and went on to study theater and acting at Carnegie Mellon, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.

film role was playing a college student who is busted for drugs in the 2001 cult comedy, "Super Troopers," and he has worked steadily in television, theater and film since that career-turning role. He recently completed filming on M. Night Shyamalan's latest project for Universal Pictures, "The Night Chronicles: Devil." Other film credits include "500 Days of Summer," opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, "American Carol," "Garden State" and "The Ringer." He has also appeared on various TV shows, including "Undeclared," "Law & Order" and "Greek."

Arend's New York stage credits include the Manhattan Theater Club's production of "The American Pilot," as well as the Public Theater's hit production of "Mother Courage and Her Children," in which he starred opposite Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline.
