Grandma Lee from "America's Got Talent" is one of the top 40 contestants on Season 4 of the NBC talent competition series. She is a comedian from Jacksonville, Florida. Grandma Lee has made it into the quarterfinals.

Grandma Lee, now age 75, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1934. After graduating from Otterbein College in Ohio, she married a Marine, Ben Strong, and spent the next 20+ years raising their four children and traveling the world. As her kids grew up, Lee worked a series of jobs,

including newspaper reporting and operating for directory assistance. In May 1995, Lee lost her husband to cancer. To help her cope, Lee began attending a local comedy workshop. Since then she has been making people laugh all around the country. Her goal on "America's Got Talent" is to help older people realize that it's never too late to follow your dreams—and laugh!

Audition

75-year-old Grandma Lee is ready to make her dream come true, which is pursuing her goal to be a stand-up comedian. She draws laughs from the audience at the Houston auditions, as well as the judges. Grandma Lee receives a standing ovation from the crowd. Sharon Osbourne loves her comedic timing, while Piers Morgan declares Grandma Lee his favorite and she thinks he's cute. Grandma is packing her bags and heading to Las Vegas.
