"Gravity Falls" Season 2 on Disney Channel is an imaginative, animated comedy about contemporary twins who are thrust into the mysterious town of Gravity Falls, Oregon.

The series introduces twin brother and sister Dipper and Mabel Pines, whose summer plans are ruined when their parents ship them off to their Great Uncle Stan (aka "Grunkle Stan") in Gravity Falls, Oregon. Grunkle Stan lives in and runs The Mystery Shack, a tourist trap which overcharges unlucky visitors for a glimpse at the world's most bizarre museum, but little do Dipper and Mabel know that there really is something very strange going on and they must rely on one another to find their way in this unfamiliar town.

Season 2

The new season finds Dipper and Mabel digging deeper than ever to learn the secret history of Journal #3's unknown author, while Stan works on a secret project that could change everything in the basement of the Mystery Shack. Scarier creatures, weirder magic and new hilarious characters, including vengeful villains and love interests, will be introduced. Guest stars include Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker in "Star Wars" Saga) and Patton Oswalt ("The Goldbergs"). Throughout the season, unique puzzle pieces with secret decodable messages will be revealed at the end of each episode's credits.

The season premiere episode, titled "Scary-oke," finds the Pines family resolving to get back to normal after the Lil' Gideon incident. They throw a "Mystery Shack Is Back" party, but some unwelcome guests crash it. In the second episode, "Into the Bunker," Dipper's secret journal pages lead him and the gang to the author's hidden bunker where they find themselves face-to-face with a mysterious figure from Gravity Falls' lore.

Created and executive-produced by 2007 CalArts graduate Alex Hirsch ("Fish Hooks," "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack") and inspired by his real-life adventures with his twin sister, "Gravity Falls" features the voice talents of Jason Ritter ("Parenthood") and Kristen Schaal ("Toy Story 3," "30 Rock") in the lead roles. The cast also includes Linda Cardellini ("Freaks and Geeks") and Alex Hirsch, and guest stars including Jennifer Coolidge, Will Forte, Alfred Molina, Lance Bass, Coolio and Larry King.
