"Gravity" on Starz is an offbeat series about a support group for people who have attempted suicide. Unlikely relationships are forged when the colorful cast faces the challenges and opportunities that come along with a second shot at life. Robert and Lily, two star-crossed lovers from very different worlds, are particularly tested when the mysterious Detective Miller takes an unusual interest in them. The couple joins the likes of an aging supermodel, construction worker, hormonal teenager and picture-perfect housewife as the group learns to live and love again in New York City.

Krysten Ritter ("Breaking Bad," "She's Out of My League"), stars as Lily Champagne, a twenty-something clinically depressed outcast looking for the love that her father never gave her. She stars with Ivan Sergei ("Charmed," "The Break-Up"), who plays Robert Collingsworth, an ophthalmologist who is despondent following the cancer death of his wife, and who becomes an internet celebrity when his suicide attempt goes comically awry. He stars with Eric Schaeffer, the series' co-creator and one of its executive producers, who plays Miller, an NYPD cop who seems to be everywhere Lily is.

Also in the cast are Ving Rhames ("Pulp Fiction," "Mission: Impossible" films) as Dogg McFee, the group's leader and a former Major League Baseball player, now confined to a wheelchair; and supermodel Rachel Hunter as Shawna Rollins, a former spokesmodel and current life coach with a penchant for much younger guys. Robyn Cohen ("The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," "Starved"), James Martinez ("Brother to Brother") and Seth Numrich ("How to Kill a Mockingbird") round out the main cast.

Starz Media, the production and distribution sibling of the Starz premium entertainment channels, produces the series. Eric Schaeffer, Jill Franklyn and Dan Pasternack are executive producers of "Gravity," which was created by Franklyn and Schaeffer. Dan Hank is producer; Schaeffer is also the series' director.
