Greg Smith from "Survivor: One World" is one of the contestants on Season 24 of the CBS reality competition series. He is a 64-year-old plastic surgeon from Houston, Texas. He starts off the season as part of the Manono tribe.

Greg Smith ("Survivor 2012") describes himself as creative, childlike (but not childish) and honorable. He earned his Board Certification in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery and received a 1st place award for research in reconstructive surgery. In his spare time, he plays for Doug Silvers & the Starliters as an organist and pianist. He came in 4th place as Campion Missouri State Wrestler Light Heavyweight. He is also proud of a his marriage for 30 years to a true "soul mate." He enjoys art, music, adventure, entomology and primatology. His pet peeves include inequity and deceit.

Who is his inspiration in life? "Tarzan, who is empathic toward nature; kind, brave, noble, 'manly,' and Scaramouche (the Raphael Sabatinni version) — a statesman, romantic, adventurer, swordsman and empathic toward the needs to women."

Which "Survivor" contestant does Smith consider himself to be most like? "Coach Ben Wade — he seems to be a romantic, adventurer, poetic and creative." Smith wanted to be a contestant for "the adventure, the challenge; to lose weight." He thinks he'll survive on the show because, "I'm of the jungle and part of nature." He believes he will ultimately win because, "Other than the misfortunes of contretemps, I hope to outwit, outplay, outlast."
