Hart Bochner stars as Zach in the USA Network original series "The Starter Wife." Hart Bochner is a versatile actor who has worked with some of Hollywood's top directors in a wide variety of roles and genres. Hart Bochner will next be seen starring in the upcoming Campbell Scott film, "Company Retreat," as well as "Spread" starring Ashton Kutcher Hart Bochner made his feature film debut portraying George C. Scott's son in Ernest Hemingway's "Islands in the Stream" and would go on to gain notice for his role in the Academy Award-winning "Breaking Away." However, it was his role in "Die Hard" opposite Bruce Willis that would earn him pop culture status. Hart Bochner's performance as the obnoxiously sleazy Harry ("Hans, Bubi!") Ellis would earn him the #2 spot on Maxim's "The Greatest Movie Douchebags List." Other film credits for Hart Bochner also include Wayne Wang's "Anywhere But Here," opposite Susan Sarandon, "Break Up" with Bridget Fonda, the cult hit, "Apartment Zero" opposite Colin Firth, George Cukor's "Rich and Famous" with Jacqueline Bisset, and John Schlesinger's "The Innocent" opposite Anthony Hopkins. On television, Hart Bochner starred in the Emmy-winning epic miniseries "War and Remembrance," Ernest Hemingway's "The Sun Also Rises" and John Steinbeck's "East of Eden." Other television credits include "And the Sea Will Tell," "Children of the Dust" and "Haywire." Hart Bochner would inevitably transition to behind-the-scenes work as a director, making his debut with the cult comedy "PCU" for Twentieth Century Fox, and "High School High" for Columbia Pictures. "Just Add Water" is his latest directorial effort, which he also wrote, and stars Danny Devito, Dylan Walsh, Jonah Hill and Justin Long. Hart Bochner currently lives in Los Angeles and is actively involved in several causes, sitting on the board of directors for the Environmental Media Association, as well as the DGA-PAC Leadership Council and L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's Green Ribbon Commission.
