Haspop from "America's Got Talent 2010" is one of the Top 48 acts in Season 5 of the NBC talent competition series. He is a French dancer who auditioned in Los Angeles, California.
Born in Lyon, Hassan, at his father's request, began to box at a young age. He quickly excelled at the sport, going on to become an inter-club champion in France. One day Hassan went to see a friend of his, a hip-hop dancer who was going to perform in the town square in Lyon. Hassan became intrigued by the wild style of Hip Hop dancing. He was immediately conflicted. His parents are devout Muslims and dancing is frowned upon in his culture, but it was something Hassan couldn't ignore. He began to learn from his friends and was a natural, quickly becoming a Popping sensation. He became the Popping Champion of France, then Europe, and then the World, as he created his own self-taught Popping style. He named this style of dance Has-Pop Style.

Needless to say Hassan's father was less than thrilled, but once he spoke to his son and learned that Hassan was making a very nice living from dance, while helping to support his parents and three brothers, he became very proud indeed. Hassan audititioned for Cirque du Soliel in Paris and was cast as The Walrus, the lead dancer and principal character for Love. Hassan and his family moved to Montreal to prep the show and then to Las Vegas, where he became the star of Love in Cirque du Soliel. Hassan infuses his dance style with a signature undercurrent of comedy and playfulness, which not only wows audiences but entertains in a way that straight dancing rarely does. Whether performing across the globe for Cirque Du Soliel or busking on Santa Monica's 3rd Street Promenade, Hassan has never forgotten his humble beginning, his simple roots, or his passion for Hip Hop dancing.
