They met in San Francisco when Lauren attended art school, where Heidi Montag was also enrolled at the time. Heidi Montag is now enrolled in fashion school with Lauren in Los Angeles, but a chance encounter with Hollywood's biggest party promoter gives her the opportunity to work the nightlife scene. Heidi Montag must decide whether she will stay in and study or get paid to go out every night. While Lauren is focused on working hard to achieve her long-term goals, Heidi Montag wants it all and she wants it now. They may live in the same apartment, but they're about to find they are on very different paths. "The Hills" Season 2 Heidi Montag surprised everyone, including herself, when she started to enjoy work. In Season 2, Heidi Montag is manning the door at Bolthouse's hottest new club Area, and she finally has the power she's been looking for. Heidi Montag spent her summer prowling the L.A. single scene with her neighbor and pal Audrina, but when the two catch the eye of the same guy, their friendship is put to the test. Heidi Montag always considered herself a player, but with her new boyfriend Spencer, it's a whole new game. "The Hills" Season 3 On the surface, Heidi Montag has everything she ever wanted by the start of Season 3: a prestigious job promoting parties in Hollywood, a boyfriend she adores in Spencer, a great apartment in the Hollywood Hills, and an engagement ring around the corner. With all of that, Heidi Montag is still missing one thing: her best friend. Since Heidi Montag moved in with Spencer, she hasn't spoken to Lauren at all, and the rift is only getting bigger. Now Heidi Montag is headed towards the most important decision of her life, but she doesn't have her best friend to share it with. As wedding bells approach, is Heidi Montag on her way out of Lauren's life forever, or will she ever convince Lauren to accept Spencer for who he is? "The Hills" Season 4 Heidi Montag has finally decided to let Spencer move back into their apartment, but soon she'll have even more difficult decisions to make. After choosing Spencer over work after he stormed her business trip, Heidi Montag has to deal with her boss. And, as if Heidi Montag didn't have enough on her plate already, now her sister Holly Montag is moving to Los Angeles—and moving in with Heidi and Spencer. Spencer is not too pleased and promises he'll move out if Holly doesn't first. Putting her career on hold is one thing, but what will Heidi Montag do when Spencer comes between her and her family? "The Hills" Season 5 Heidi Montag has always known what she wants, and she finally got the perfect, storybook wedding. Now Heidi Montag is ready for the next step: the perfect dream house in the suburbs, with a white picket fence, a pool, and of course a nursery. Heidi Montag even resigned from Bolthouse to get on with it. Heidi Montag says that women have expiration dates, and she wants to get cracking on starting a family. Too bad Spencer is not on the same page. It's not the first time Heidi Montag has had a disagreement with Spencer, but it might be the biggest. Heidi Montag will need to decide if they can stay together if he won't give her the one thing she wants more than anything in the world.
