"VH1 Hip Hop Squares" revitalizes the iconic game show "Hollywood Squares." The show originally aired on MTV2 for two seasons in 2012 before VH1 picked it up in 2017 with comedian DeRay Davis serving as the new host. The series stays true to the tic-tac-toe format of the original game show, while infusing it with some of the biggest and most charismatic personalities in Hip Hop culture today, which transcends genre and crosses into the mainstream with its influence on everything from music to entertainment, fashion to comedy, and more.

Seasons 1 and 2

The series features musical moments and unpredictable interactions between energetic, hilarious and well-known personalities including actor, comedian and television host Nick Cannon; pro-skateboarder and Jackass crew member Bam Margera; actress, dancer and singer-songwriter Kat Graham; record producer, artist and radio personality DJ Khaled; rappers Fat Joe, Biz Markie, Ghostface Killah, Mac Miller and MGK; Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl linebacker LaMarr Woodley and more to be announced. The first two seasons of the show were hosted by Peter Rosenberg, known for his quirky and unique spin on Hip Hop culture and New York life as radio DJ on New York City's #1 Hip Hop Station, Hot 97.

The series is executive produced by Ice Cube and Cube Vision with Jesse Collins from Jesse Collins Entertainment, Scott St. John and Jeff Kwatinetz's The Firm.
