Imani Hakim stars as Tonya, Chris's younger sister, the coddled baby of the family, in The CW's critically acclaimed comedy "Everybody Hates Chris," a series inspired by the childhood experiences of comedian Chris Rock.

After showing a natural interest in acting at age seven, Imani Hakim began studying acting at Cleveland's historic Karamu House Theater. At Karamu House, Imani Hakim appeared in stage productions of "Who Stole the Baby Jesus," "Cinderella" and "The Hobbit."

Imani Hakim has also studied at Alexander's Workshop in Lakewood, California, and The Young Actor's Space in Burbank, California.

Aside from acting, Imani Hakim enjoys music, African dance, reading, writing and martial arts.

Imani Hakim currently lives in Los Angeles with her father and two brothers.
