Ivan Sergei stars in "Gravity" on Starz as Robert Collingsworth, a devout Catholic who is still despondent two years after the death of his beloved wife. He tries to kill himself to be with her only to end up an internet celebrity instead.
Ivan Sergei recently starred as the title character in the action-adventure miniseries "Jack Hunter and the Treasure of Ugarit," which aired internationally; in the upcoming feature film "Trace of Danger"; and as Duncan Swift in the Lifetime movie "High Noon,"
He also starred in the disaster epic "10.5," right after coming off of two seasons on the NBC hit "Crossing Jordan," in which he played Peter Winslow. In addition, he had a major role in the final season of The WB's "Charmed" as Henry Mitchell, a parole officer who marries Paige (Rose McGowan).
While he has focused mostly on TV series and TV movies, Sergei has also built a body of film work that includes indie cult-classics "The Opposite of Sex," with Christina Ricci and Lisa Kudrow; "The Big Day," opposite Emmy winner Julianna Margulies; and "Scorched" with Woody Harrelson, Alicia Silverstone and John Cleese. He landed his feature debut, in "Dangerous Minds," starring Michelle Pfeiffer, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, after entering a multi-city open call while he lived in New York City.
Sergei and Cleese reteamed in the ABC half-hour comedy "Wednesday 9:30 (8:30 Central)," in which the young actor received high praise as a "fish-out-of-water" playwright from Minneapolis who is thrust into the harsh world of network television. Sergei has also starred in The WB romantic comedy "Jack and Jill," playing the title character of Jill, as well as the fast-paced action series "John Woo's Once a Thief," executive produced and directed by John Woo.
In addition to his busy acting career, Sergei has had writer/producer deals Warner Brothers Television. Sergei recently wrote and directed the NBC One Minute Movie "Death Do Us Part," starring Eddie Cibrian and Amber Valletta, for producer John Wells.
