Ivonne Escoto from "Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge" is one of the contestants on the Syfy reality competition series. She is a freelance special effects artist from Los Angeles, California. She says, "To stay in the business, you need to always be willing to learn. It's never going to stay the same. Ever. It's always changing — everything we do is a prototype."

Ivonne Escoto has been working in the industry full-time for a decade. She's worked on big projects like "Spider-Man 2" and "Tron: Legacy," and one of her favorite parts of the job is seeing her work on the screen. She loves hearing "the gasp" when people see something that she's worked on.

She's most known for seaming or figure finishing, but she does a little bit of everything. She has the ability to roll with the punches and believes that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. She's never been on a job where everything goes right, but she adapts and solves the problem to get the job done.

She's here to do her best with what she's given and she's excited to learn more about the Henson magic. Ivonne has experience working with both CGI and practical characters, but prefers the practical characters for their tangibility.
