J Chris Newberg ("America's Got Talent 2011") spent the majority of his life onstage honing his craft as a comic, musician and writer. Starting out as a bar musician in Detroit, Michigan, and studying improvisation at The Second City, Newberg has evolved into a humorous live performer who fuses music, melody and hook. Uniquely talented, Newberg is thrilled about making the journey from the comedy club scene to the national stage and being seen by millions of Americans.
