Jacob Rummell from "The Voice" is one of top 48 artists in Season 8 of the NBC reality singing competition series. From Akron, Ohio, he is on Pharrell Williams' team.

Jacob Rummell sang "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars for his blind audition. After both Adam Levine and Blake Shelton turned their chairs around, Jacob chose Shelton to be his coach. Jacob later was stolen by Pharrell during the battle rounds.

Jacob's parents were high school sweethearts, and they adopted him and his biological sister when they were very young. He grew up in a small town where he sang in church and performed in all his high school plays. Jacob is now at a crossroads between going to college and pursuing his dream of becoming a professional singer.
