Jake Epstein stars in "Degrassi: The Next Generation" as Craig Manning. Jake received a 2003 Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program series and was nominated for a Young Artist Award for a Leading Young Actor in a TV Series category for "Degrassi" in 2004. He was a 2003 nominee of a Young Artist Award for Best Ensemble Actor in a TV Series for "Degrassi."
Jake Epstein spent two years co-starring as Cam Dunleavey in the TV series "The Zack Files." Jake appeared in the
film "Charlie Bartlett," starring Robert Downey Jr.
In 2007, Jake traveled to Africa with five members of the "Degrassi" cast to build a school in Kenya with the organization Free the Children. A documentary about the trip aired on MTV in Canada.
In 2008, Jake graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal. In 2009, he starred alongside three of his fellow "Degrassi" actors in the Toronto production of the award-winning off-Broadway play "Dog Sees God," and played Melchior in the national tour of the rock musical "Spring Awakening."
