James "Country" Thornwell from "White Collar Brawlers" stars in the Esquire Network reality series. He is one of the trainers at Gleason's Gym.

In 34 years of coaching — 20 of those at Gleason's — James "Country" Thornwell has trained such notables as WBC and WBA World Heavyweight Champion Tim Witherspoon and two-time New York Golden Glove champion Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. Thornwell works with everyone from ten year olds to heavyweights and is a patient instructor who can motivate any athlete.
