In making the leap from ensemble cast member on Nick's hit show, "All That," to starring in her own sitcom, Jamie Lynn Spears is following in the footsteps of her idol, Amanda Bynes. In addition to "All That" and "Zoey 101," Jamie Lynn Spears has appeared with her older sis, Britney Spears, in a Pepsi commercial and in the movie "Crossroads." The real-life ninth grader is on the cheerleading squad and basketball team at her high school, and loves the fact that there's so much about her character that she can relate to. But the similarities end when it comes to siblings—the baby of the Spears gang, Jamie Lynn Spears has a great time playing a big sister on-screen. In her time off, Jamie Lynn Spears jets right back to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana to hang with her family and friends. When she's not spending time with friends, Jamie Lynn Spears is perfecting her hip-hop, jazz, ballet and tap dancing skills!
