Jason Patric

Jason Patric stars in "Powers" on FX as Christian Walker, a homicide detective devoted solely to cases that involve people with superpowers.

Jason Patric recently concluded a successful run on Broadway, starring in the revival of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play "That Championship Season," with Chris Noth, Kiefer Sutherland, Brian Cox and Jim Gaffigan, directed by Gregory Mosher. The play, originally presented in 1972, was written by Patric's father, Jason Miller.

Patric first gained attention with his starring role in Joel Schumacher's 1987 comedy thriller hit "The Lost Boys." He went on to earn critical acclaim for his performances in the drama "The Beast of War," the erotic thriller "After Dark, My Sweet," and the crime drama "Rush." Other film credits include "Geronimo: An American Legend," "Sleepers" and "Your Friends and Neighbors," which was the first feature Patric produced for his production company, "Fleece." Patric's more recent film credits include "Narc," "The Alamo," "Expired," "Downloading Nancy," "In the Valley of Elah" and "My Sister's Keeper."

Some of Patric's other theater credits include the Broadway production of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," Neil LaBute's "Bash," "Beirut," "Out of Gas on Lover's Leap," "The Tempest," "Henry V" and "Love's Labor Lost."
