Jason Ralph stars in "The Magicians" on Syfy as Quentin Coldwater, a brilliant grad student who enrolls in Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, a secret upstate New York university specializing in magic.

On television, Jason Ralph played the recurring role of Mike Vickery in NBC's drama series "Aquarius." He has also appeared in episodes of Netflix's "Grace and Frankie"; CBS's "Madam Secretary," "Blue Bloods," "Unforgettable" and "The Good Wife"; HBO's "Looking"; NBC's "Smash"; and The CW's "Gossip Girl."

On the big screen, Raplh was seen in "A Most Violent Year," alongside Oscar Isaac, Jessica Chastain and David Oyelowo, "I'm Obsessed with You (But You've Got to Leave Me Alone)" with Rachel Brosnahan, and "Brightest Star," opposite Chris Lowell, Rose McIver and Jessica Szohr.

Ralph made his Broadway debut in 2012 as an understudy in "Peter and the Starcatcher." Other stage credits include "IN" at Pioneer Theatre, "Brighton Beach Memoirs" at Flower Mound Performing Arts Center, and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Oak Point Shakespeare Festival. He also appeared in numerous productions at Collin Theatre Center, including "All's Well That Ends Well," "Three Days of Rain," "Twelfth Night" and "Season's Greetings."

Ralph earned his BFA in Acting from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film, where he performed in productions of "Two Gentlemen of Verona," "Mad Forest," "Lady Windermere's Fan," "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot," "Marisol" and "Book of Days."
