Jay Ali stars in "Significant Mother" on The CW as Atticus Adams.

Jay Ali was born and raised in London by circus folk. After a few years, he found the stresses of traveling the country, being shot out of a cannon and cleaning up horse poo too much to handle. He also had a fear of clowns and "small people." He decided to turn his back on the circus life and move to the United States in 2009. He did not realize he was leaving one circus to join another. a few months of living on the streets, he landed a guest-starring role in The CW's "Melrose Place." He then earned one of twelve coveted spots in the ABC Comedy Diversity Showcase.

On television, Ali is best known for playing the recurring role of Timothy in ABC Family's drama "The Fosters." He has guest starred in CBS's "NCIS" and TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles" and was cast in BET's pilot for "What Would Dylan Do?" In addition, he stars in the web series "Bloomers."

Ali made his feature film debut in "Darling Companion," starring Diane Keaton and Kevin Kline.
