Jayne Atkinson portrays Karen Hayes on Fox's "24." The career of British-born, two-time Tony Award-nominee Jayne Atkinson has spanned two decades and has included roles in theater, television and film.
A graduate of Northwestern University, Jayne Atkinson made her theater debut in a Broadway production of "All My Sons" and went on to star in many theater productions, including "Henry VIII," "Tru" and "The Art of Success." In 2000, Jayne Atkinson's powerful performance in "The Rainmaker" garnered a Tony Award nomination, and her role in "Enchanted April" earned Atkinson an Outer Critics Circle Award as well as a Tony Award nomination.
On the silver screen, Jayne Atkinson's feature film credits include "Free Willy," "Blank Check" and "The Village." Most recently, Atkinson starred alongside George Clooney in the Academy Award-winning drama "Syriana."
Jayne Atkinson's other television credits include "A Year in the Life," "Parenthood," "The X-Files," "Law & Order," "The Practice" and "Joan of Arcadia."
Jayne Atkinson is happily married and lives in Los Angeles.
