Jeanne Tripplehorn stars in "Criminal Minds" on CBS as a profiler.

For five seasons, Tripplehorn co-starred with Bill Paxton in the HBO series "Big Love," as Barbara Dutton Henrickson. The series was nominated for Golden Globes Awards in both 2007 and 2008 for Best Dramatic Television Series and an Emmy Award nomination in 2009 and 2010 for Best Television Drama.

Jeanne Tripplehorn has established herself as one of Hollywood's most dynamic female performers with her taste for challenging roles in film, television and theater. After attending the Juilliard School of Drama in New York, Tripplehorn has become a multifaceted performer; working with some of the highest acclaimed actors, writers and directors in Hollywood.

Tripplehorn was recently nominated for an Emmy Award in 2009 for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Movie for her appearance as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the HBO film, "Grey Gardens" opposite Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore. The drama is based on the real life stories of "Big Edie" (Lange) and "Little Edie" (Barrymore) Bouvier Beale, relatives of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onnasis (Tripplehorn). The film was nominated for 17 Emmy Awards.

Tripplehorn's feature film credits include "Morning" with Laura Linney, "Relative Values" with Julie Andrews, "Mickey Blue Eyes" with Hugh Grant and James Caan, "Very Bad Things" with Cameron Diaz, and "Sliding Doors" with Gwyneth Paltrow. Other film credits include "Til There Was You," "Waterworld," "The Night We Never Met," and Sydney Pollack's "The Firm," opposite Tom Cruise. Tripplehorn made her motion picture debut in Paul Verhoven's "Basic Instinct" opposite Michael Douglas.

Tripplehorn's television credits include a guest starring role in the series "New Girl," the short film anthology "Five," the Hallmark Hall of Fame production of William Faulkner's "Old Man" and "The Perfect Tribute," with Jason Robards.

On stage, Tripplehorn starred on Broadway in Scott Elliot's stage version of Anton Chekov's "Three Sisters" at the Roundabout Theatre. Her additional theater credits include "Tis a Pity She's a Whore," opposite Val Kilmer, and John Patrick Shanley's "The Big Funk," both at The Public Theater.
