Jeff Garlin stars in "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on HBO as Jeff Greene, in addition to executive producing the comedy series. The critically acclaimed series has won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy, The Danny Thomas Producer of the Year Award from the Producers Guild of America and the 2001 AFI Comedy Series of the Year Award. "Curb Your Enthusiasm" recently aired its seventh season on HBO.

On the big screen, Jeff Garlin stars in the animated movie "Cars 2" as the voice of Otis. No stranger to Disney • Pixar films, Garlin also starred in "Toy Story 3" as the voice of Buttercup and in the Oscar-winning "Wall•E" as the voice of The Captain.

A popular comic, Garlin has a style of comedy that has much in common with the comedians of the '60s and early-'70s (among them, Shelley Berman, Mort Sahl, Woody Allen, and Richard Pryor). Not resorting to jokes or anything too high-concept, Garlin's stage performance consist of stories involving his personal foibles and exposing his innermost secrets for all to hear.

On TV, Garlin spent three seasons on NBC's "Mad About You" in the role of "Marvin." As a director, he has directed both Jon Stewart ("Unleavened") and Denis Leary ("Lock-n-Load") in their HBO specials. He's also directed several episodes of "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Other film credits include the Steven Soderbergh film "Full Frontal" which stars Julia Roberts and David Duchovny, and "Daddy Day Care" with Eddie Murphy. He also has a variety of TV and film appearances to his credit as an actor and a stand-up, including "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me," "Bounce," "Everybody Loves Raymond," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."

Born and raised in Chicago and then South Florida, Jeff Garlin studied filmmaking and began performing stand-up comedy while at the University of Miami. A Second City Theatre alumnus, Garlin toured the country as a stand-up comedian before making the transtion into acting. His first film as a director, "I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With," was released in 2007 to critical acclaim.

His first-ever stand-up comedy special, "Young & Handsome: A Night with Jeff Garlin," aired on Comedy Central on September 25, 2009, and was shot at the historic Second City Theatre in Chicago. In 2010, Garlin appeared in Columbia Pictures' comedy "The Bounty Hunter" starring opposite Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. Garlin's book, "My Footprint," was released by Simon Spotlight that same year.

Garlin's hobbies include eating puddin' and taking naps.
