Jeff Geddis stars as Matt Scott on ABC Family's "Sophie." Matt is Sophie's gay best friend and dispenser of all advice. Always there to help Sophie out in any pinch, Matt is also on his own quest for love.
Jeff Geddis graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors degree in Acting. He is most recognizable as 'Mike Nesmith' in VH1's "Daydream Believers: The Monkees' Story" and has appeared in several other projects such as ABC Family's "Beautiful People," "Shotgun Love Dolls" and "Monster Island," and "Bleacher Bums." Other credits include "Crime Spree," "Twas the Night," "Murder Among Friends," "Jason X," "The Famous Jett Jackson," "PSI Factor," and "Odyssey 5."
As a writer, Geddis has penned a novel and several screenplays with partner, Eric Hempsall. They are currently in development with Electric Entertainment on a feature entitled "The Gingerbread House."
