Jennifer Aspen stars in "Good Christian Belles" as Sharon Pevy. The ABC drama from executive producer is Darren Star is about a former high school "mean girl" who returns home to Dallas after her marriage ends in scandal.

Jennifer Aspen can credit her career as an actress to an early high school experience in Santa Cruz, California, during detention. She heard music and followed the sound to discover students who were auditioning for the play "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying." She auditioned for the classic musical and, to her surprise, nabbed the lead role. Aspen went on to attend UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and Television, where she received a B.A. in Theatre.

She made her television debut as a guest star on the comedy series "Hope and Gloria," quickly followed by an appearance on the long-running hit drama, "Beverly Hills, 90210." She has been a series regular on the television shows "Rodney," "Party of Five," "Bob Patterson" and "Come to Papa," and has had numerous guest-star and recurring roles on shows such as "Friends," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigations," "Will and Grace," "The Agency," "Line of Fire," "The Lyon's Den" and "Karen Sisco." Her more recent TV credits include "Private Practice," "$#*! My Dad Says," "Supernatural" and a recurring role in "Glee."

Her recent film credits include the indies "L.A. Twister" and "Guy in Row Five," as well as Spyglass Entertainment's "The Ranch," for Showtime. Other film credits include "Vanilla Sky," starring Tom Cruise, "See Jane Run," with Clea DuVall, "The Others," starring Nicole Kidman, "Changing Habits," "A Very Brady Sequel," opposite Shelley Long, and "Sometimes They Come Back... Again."

For the stage, Aspen made her professional debut in the Pasadena Playhouse production of "The Lion in Winter," opposite Broadway star Carol Cook, and she is an ongoing member of the Master Class at the prestigious Beverly Hills Playhouse. Additional theater credits include "The Half Lives of Marie Curie," "The Love of a Nightingale," "Pieta," "The Water Engine" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

In her spare time, Aspen enjoys road trips, urban dancing and guerilla photography. She resides in Los Angeles with her three cats and one dog.
