Jennifer Peterson-Hind appears on the American version of the musical children's program "Hi-5" that airs on Discovery Kids and The Learning Channel. Her segment on "Hi-5" is "Word Play," in which she and her puppet best friend Chatterbox, or Chats for short, learn new words. Peterson-Hind's role on the show is the equivalent to that of Kellie Hoggart's in the original Australian version.

Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Jennifer Peterson-Hind began her performing career by singing with her father at church when she was very young. This led her to a stint in the Madison Children's Choir, with which she released two albums and toured Canada, Italy, and Brazil.

Peterson-Hind attended the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music for Musical Theater. On her breaks from shows and classes, she spent three summers working as a performer for the American Folklore Theater, where she found her love for country music.

Peterson-Hind has sung in famous clubs in Los Angeles such as The Viper room, The Mint, and The Derby with her husband, Tom Korbee, as part of his band and can be heard on his first major album. She recorded her own album, "Give a Girl a Reason" in November 2006 with producers Jace Smith and Hanford Pittman.
