Jermaine Sellers auditioned in Atlanta, Georgia. Jermaine Sellers sang "What if God Was One of Us" by Joan Osborne for his audition. All four judges voted yes to send Jermaine Sellers to Hollywood. Before auditioning for "American Idol," he was singing in his local church. Jermaine Sellers has taken care of his mother who suffers from spina bifida since he was 17 years old.
