Jerry Edwards Jr. from "Coal" stars in the Spike TV reality docu-series about coal miners. Jerry Jr. ("Coal") is a scoop man who works the day shift in the mine.

Jerry Edwards Jr. has been working alongside his father Robert Jerry "Wildman" Edwards Sr. for more than two years. Jerry Jr. previously worked in the roofing business, but left because the mine paid better. He's been fortunate enough to never have personally witnessed or experienced a serious injury in the mines.
