Jesse James Jesse James Is a Dead Man Jesse James Monster Garage Jesse James Pictures Jesse James can be called many things: custom bike and car builder, producer, publisher, television host, and restaurateur. And yes, it's true, Jesse James is a descendant of the original outlaw of the wild west. But the way Jesse James likes to best describe himself is as "a glorified welder." Jesse James is very reluctant about his "celebrity" and doesn't understand what all the fuss is about. In summer 2008, Jesse James hit the road and toured across the United States to talk to the American worker one-on-one to launch his new clothing line Jesse James Industrial Work Wear, which is currently available in Wal-Mart stores nationwide. Jesse James' relationship with Wal-Mart has been going strong for 6 years. Jesse James has had his line of West Coast Choppers apparel in Wal-Mart stores exclusively but had a vision way beyond WCC apparel. Jesse James saw a need in the market for a line of truly hard working, long-wearing apparel that wouldn't break the bank and brought his vision and his brand of work clothes to Wal-Mart to continue offering blue collar workers value. In 2000, Jesse James was the subject of "Motorcycle Mania" which chronicled his everyday life as a motorcycle builder on the Discovery Channel. Surprisingly, this peek into his life became one of the highest rated shows in the networks' history and "Motorcycle Mania II" and "III" soon followed and unknowingly, a new genre of reality TV was created. Jesse James established a loyal following who would tune in for 85 episodes to watch the anti-host in his best known role on the international television hit, "Monster Garage," which he produced and starred in. Week after week, eager fans watched Jesse James accomplish the impossible! From flying cars to lawn mowing Mustangs, Jesse James continued to create mind blowing vehicles which kept this show at the top of the ratings for six years! Before his TV gig, Jesse James started West Coast Choppers by doing what he loved, building motorcycles in his mom's garage. Jesse James built his shop from the ground up and through noting more than hard work and dedication, turned it into the phenomenon it is today. The iconic logo is now recognized around the world. Every inch of his custom bikes and cars are stamped with Jesse James' signature work. As an expert welder, Jesse James only produces 12-14 bikes a year, making a very long wait list for his coveted custom machines. Jesse James then established Payupsucker Productions, so that he could share the stories he wanted to tell. In his first released title "History of the Chopper," Jesse James pays tribute to his bike building heroes and for the first time, sheds light on the black bike builders that everyone else ignored. Jesse James then traveled to Iraq for a first hand look inside the war and documented his experience in the feature "Iraq Confidential with Jesse James." Putting all politics aside, this show highlighted the brave efforts of the mechanics who risk their lives everyday. Both features aired on Discovery in 2006. Jesse James is currently in production on his third feature titled "Green Scream," which will be released in 2009. In 2004, Jesse James took on a new role as publisher of Garage Magazine and launched Payupsucker Publications because he wanted to provide other gearheads a magazine that showcases the vitality of car culture in a high quality, glossy, lifestyle magazine format. The magazines' approach is a gritty, insightful commentary on one of the most prolific aspects of pop culture. Garage Magazine has fulfilled an unmet need in the marketplace, a title that focuses on the personalities behind and beyond the custom car/bike. Jesse James soon decided to fulfill one of his longtime dreams and opened a fun, cool, eco-friendly burger joint that the whole family could enjoy. In 2006, Cisco Burger was born, named after his beloved pit bull Cisco. Completely solar operated; Cisco Burger uses only biodegradable products and serves up the best burger in Long Beach. Just steps away from West Coast Choppers' headquarters, Jesse James made sure that every inch of Cisco Burger is environmentally friendly—even deliveries are made in a Prius (with WCC rims of course!) And in his spare time, Jesse James pursues his passion, off-road desert racing. Jesse James and his team of builders have constructed a radically engineered trophy truck in which he has competed alongside legendary racers. As a newcomer to the illusive and grueling Baja races, Jesse James has already proven himself as a formidable competitor. So what is Jesse James most proud of? Two things—his three children and the fact that his fan base is made up prominently of blue collar workers. Jesse James has never lost sight of that which is the reason why his West Coast Choppers brand has maintained such a strong presence. Jesse James continues to stay true to his roots and finds comfort in knowing that if all this was gone tomorrow, he could still earn $25.00 an hour as a damn good welder!
