Jill Kargman stars in "Odd Mom Out" on Bravo. The dark comedy series is based upon her novel, "Momzillas" (Doubleday/Broadway), which is about a scary sect of Type A competitive yummy mummies on New York's Upper East Side.

Jill Kargman is a writer based in New York City who is deathly afraid of clowns. And mimes. After graduating college, she worked as a Xerox whore at the bottom of the magazine totem pole, where she took copious notes on the (psycho) characters for whom she worked. Post dues-paying era of languishing in the trenches of assistant life, she and her writing partner, Carrie Karasyov, wrote the 2000 Sundance film "Intern" about their struggles. Their two subsequent novels, "The Right Address" and "Wolves in Chic Clothing," were national bestsellers and published in eight languages. The film rights to "Wolves" have been optioned. Which doesn't really mean anything. The duo also wrote three young adult books for Harper-Collins: "Bittersweet Sixteen," "Summer Intern" and "Jet Set."

Kargman's freelance work includes over ten shows for MTV, including episodes of "MTV: Ultrasound" and "So Five Minutes Ago." She has written over 100 articles that have appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Interview, Town & Country, British GQ, Elle, Teen Vogue, style.com, and Travel + Leisure. Her memoir "Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut" was a national bestseller and her latest is "The Rock Star in Seat 3A."
