TV Personality Jillian Harris first charmed audiences with her irrepressible humor and emotional honesty on Season 13 of "The Bachelor" and Season 5 of "The Bachelorette." She brings over 10 years' experience in the design industry to "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and as the host of "Canada's Next Handyman," which premieres on HGTV in 2012.

When not on TV, Harris can be found speaking on design and decor topics at various seminars and home shows around the country. Outside of her work in television, she jets between the U.S. and Canada to run her firm, Jillian Harris Design, where she collaborates on or spearheads a number of high profile residential, restaurant and hotel projects. In her free time, Harris thrives while traveling, spending quality time with her family, shopping with friends and, of course, cooking some of her favorite family recipes. She is dedicated to charities, including Big Brothers, and most recently helped with disaster relief in her hometown of Slave Lake in Alberta for the Red Cross.

Jillian Harris came oh-so-close to being the woman Jason Mesnick selected on Season 13 of "The Bachelor" but ended up being the second runner-up, losing out to winner Melissa Rycroft and runner-up Molly Malaney.
Harris scored points with Mesnick the first night she met him. Finding a creative new way to "grill" a guy, Jillian disclosed her unusual theory about discovering a lot about a man from the condiments he puts on his hot dog, and she immediately put Jason to the test. Her adventurous spirit and resourceful, resilient manner of handling a stressful family situation impressed Jason, who fit in with her wonderful and warm family. He invited her to New Zealand as one of the final three women, but even after she and Jason shared one of the steamiest hot tubs in "Bachelor" history, he still questioned whether their chemistry would last over time and sent her home.
Jillian graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology with a degree in interior design.
