Jim True-Frost stars in the movie "The Conspirator," starring James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Kevin Kline and Evan Rachel Wood, as Hartranft.

Jim True-Frost is a graduate of New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, and has been an ensemble member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago since 1989. He was also a member of Remains Theater and appeared in the American Repertory Theater's production of "Julius Caesar" as Brutus.

True-Frost is perhaps best known for playing Det. Roland "Prez" Pryzbylewski on all five seasons of HBO's drama series "The Wire." His numerous other TV credits include "Blue Bloods," "Chase," "Treme," "Fringe," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "CSI: Miami" and "Medium."

He and his wife, attorney Cora True-Frost, reside in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
