Joanna "JoJo" Levesque Joanna "JoJo" Levesque Joanna "JoJo" Levesque Joanna "JoJo" Levesque Joanna "JoJo" Levesque Joanna "JoJo" Levesque Joanna "JoJo" Levesque JoJo Pictures Joanna "JoJo" Levesque is a pop and R&B artist and actress. JoJo signed her first record deal at the age of 12 and debuted with her multi-platinum self-titled album at 13. JoJo quickly became both the youngest solo artist ever to score a #1 single on the Billboard charts and the youngest to be nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. Her album peaked at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. By the time she was 16 years old, JoJo had already done a whirlwind world tour, starred in two feature films, and had the chance to sing for the President of the United States twice. On her career, Joanna "JoJo" Levesque says, "I feel so blessed, like someone is looking over my shoulder. I've also learned that when you have a positive outlook and surround yourself with a great team, you will go far." Despite JoJo's talent that surpasses her years, she is still a teen at heart. Her songs reflect all the highs and lows of a typical teenager's life-from boy problems to school struggles. JoJo is not content with just one musical style because she doesn't think teenagers listen to just one genre of music. "I wanted to do something that people could groove to, chill to, connect and listen to again and again," Joanna Levesque says. JoJo's second album, "The High Road," was released October 17, 2006, reaching number three on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. JoJo is currently working on her third album, "All I Want Is Everything," to be released in 2009. As an actress, Joanna Levesque starred in the Fox 2000 feature film "Aquamarine" (2006) opposite Emma Roberts and Barry Sonnenfeld's "RV," opposite Robin Williams and Cheryl Hines. Joanna Levesque also starred in the 2008 TV movie "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet," opposite Valerie Bertinelli. Joanna Levesque has also made guest appearances on television shows such as "The Bernie Mac Show," "American Dreams," and "Punk'd."
